EDP-Neptune anesthesia machine
The EDP-Neptune anesthesia machine is a device with many capabilities and a high level of technology. This device has the required and efficient volume and pressure modes SIMV/ACMV/APCV/SPONT/MANUAL and this device also uses High Technology flow sensors. The flow sensors of the device are permanent and have a 10-year warranty.
The EDP-Neptune anesthesia machine is proudly a domestic production device and is produced industrially and advanced using the technical and specialized knowledge of Iranian engineers. This device has valid internal licenses such as production license and operating license and has also received the European CE standard certificate and has more than 1000 installation centers throughout Iran.
An anesthesia machine is a device that can control the level of anesthesia or consciousness of the patient by using the combination of specific amounts of different gases and anesthetic drugs and by adjusting the ratio of these gases. During the surgery, the patient loses consciousness for a certain period of time and regains consciousness after the surgery and the anesthetics wear off.
EDP-Neptune model anesthesia machine is a device with many capabilities and the highest level of technology and safety. The device has a pneumatic and electronic driver. All exhalation parameters including Tidal Volume, Mute Volume, Peep, airway pressure and inspiratory oxygen concentration are monitored. The working mechanism of the device is based on the Bag-in-bottle system.

The system of this anesthesia machine is semi-closed, where Fresh Gas flows continuously.
Inhalation and exhalation of the patient is done through the manual bag (in Manual/Spontaneous modes) or the internal bag of the device (in CMV and PCV modes). The patient's CO2 is also absorbed through the absorber.
The EDP-Neptune anesthesia machine ventilator is made in such a way that it can be used for all groups of patients (infant to adult) and the Tidal Volume can be adjusted from 10ml to 1600ml.

The EDP-Neptune anesthesia machine has ORMC safety, which means that in some situations when the level of N2O increases without increasing the amount of oxygen or the oxygen flow decreases, the patient may become hypoxic. This feature prevents these things from happening. The above safety establishes a minimum amount of 25% oxygen in the combination of N2O and O2.
Also, when the oxygen pressure drops below 1.8 bar, another safety called N2O cut off is activated, which cuts off the N2O gas supply source and the oxygen alarm is activated. In this situation, it is not possible to give 100% N2O to the patient.
